Pugil
"Musician, Multi-Disciplinary Artist, Mime, Other Stuff"
Description
Pugil is an eclectic multi-disciplinary artist and muliti-instrumentalist from Springfield, MA. She first learned the piano as apart of her church's music program at the age of 6. Since 2015 when she started making instruments out of tree bark and recycled computer parts at the tender age of 11, she has recorded a ton of releases, most of which is catalogued on her Bandcamp GooseSpruce, named after her dingy home studio of the same name.
While it wouldn't be inaccurate to describe Pugil as primarily a recording artist, she has done solo gigs and played in many bands. She has performed at libraries, farms, colleges, coffee houses and other sexy little locations, and has performed with everything from circuit-bent toys, modular synths, hacked Chromebooks, microtonal guitars, and even instruments. Furthermore, she has collaborated and played with musicians such as Indiana country musician Chance Hopper, modern UK noise legend Park Zero, and SoundCloud electropop diva Xofilo. She is always looking for more venues to perform in the Western Mass area and to collaborate with anyone from anywhere.
