Tricky Youth is an experimental noise/industrial/hip-hop musician and performance artist based in Los Angeles who grew up in New York City, where he first began performing. Tricky Youth's first single, "Scott Strapped", was released on Thunder Zone Records in 2019, and his first album, "The Further Down We Go, The Less I Recognize", was released in 2022 on KFC Murderchicks' PSneaky imprint. Through constant touring over the next several years, as well as a performance at the 2022 Gathering of the Juggalos, Tricky became known for visceral, physical live performances often involving elements such as being tattooed while performing, bloodletting, and VHS tapes played from a CRT TV. In 2026, he released his second full-length album, "Underground Transmissions", on Realicide Records, culminating years of those performances into an album that brings together influences as wide-ranging as Godflesh, DJ Screw, Tim Hecker, throwback Def Jux-style Hip-Hop and Digital Hardcore Records-style breakbeats.
