Description

Hailing from Portland, OR, Trigger fae has been playing the banjo and writing folk punk since 2017. Originally from San Diego, Trigger moved to Portland in 2017 after her best friend Jay Carter died by suicide, an event that would inspire her first original song.

Since then she has written songs about events in her life, the struggle of being a sex worker, and most notably heavily political motivated songs about the trans struggle, which has taken top priority in inspiration, and antifascism. She also dabbles in traditional old time folk songs, writing her own renditions as per folk tradition.

Trigger has released one EP and is currently working on an album. She performs around the Pacific Northwest with notable locations being Portland, Olympia, and Seattle. She has traveled out to Chicago to play one show there and has plans to play in Colorado, more of the Midwest, and eventually the NorthEast region.
