"after years of intense internal strife, at some point my self esteem became passable enough that I began having grand delusions about forming a band or something. i don't know, i wasn't paying attention. vaguely concerned about this development, i fessed up to my therapist about it who, given the state of the music industry, was very unhappy to hear it. in her great wisdom i was immediately and surreptitiously admitted to fairfax in everett for 6 months whereupon i met conor of new jersey who was in a dissociative fugue after escaping an eyes-wide-shut-type mormon compound deep underneath salt lake with the help of zoe, our new yorkian metal drummer who is also my girlfriend." - saoirse

we're a guitar band with a lot of varying influences. saoirse as a writer tends toward power pop, grunge, and doom. conor likes the pogues, the fall, and sinead o'connor. zøë grew up on nu metal and industrial.
