Description
CLUB CRITICAL is San Francisco’s non-degenrenational (adj.: of no specific genre/subgenre affiliation; free-form; diverse) dance club, set in one of the Upper Haight’s oldest bars! Hosted by DJs DJ Draven and Selecter NO, come dressed up and ready to dance to a variety of styles, including new wave classics, grimey industrial, post-punk oddities, electro bangers, and more!

DJ Draven:
Also known as Set Draven, he may be better known as the frontman for the chaotic industrial duo Killer Couture (@killercouture). But when not trying to burn down clubs with their power tools, he was also the host of KUTZ 103.1FM’s “Time Out For Fun” in Sacramento, a show where he could showcase his DJ skills, along with his eclectic taste and eccentric personality. He also has guest DJ’d at clubs like Kumbia Dark (SF), Club New Rose (Sacramento), and Bloodbath (East Bay). Specializing in various subgenres of the 80’s and 90’s, but never one to be cornered into any one category, he’ll be bringing Critical his best mixes and mashups of industrial, Madchester, electro, and other styles of dance music, for a set you won’t forget!
Selecter NO:
You may have seen Selecter NO (of NO fame) before, entrancing a club, seamlessly fusing industrial and synth-pop with an artistic bent that might give away some of his experimental electronic influences; a bend that he also puts on his DJ sets, which can include post-punk, disco, synth pop, and Latin freestyle, to name a few!
The club has a roomy dancefloor and features a pool table, pinball machines, full bar, and outdoor patio!
